Nagles Doolin Camping

By Motorhome, Car, Motor Bike or Bicycle

Though they are among the most scenic routes in Ireland, some of the roads leading to Doolin are quite narrow & difficult to navigate in a motorhome, or a car with caravan. We advise the following routes if travelling with a large vehicle

From Dublin: Take the M7 motorway to Limerick, then the N18 to Ennis. See directions from Ennis below.

From Cork, Kerry & Limerick: Travel to Limerick and follow the N18 to Ennis. See directions from Ennis below.

From Ennis: Drive to Inagh -> Ennistymon -> Kilshanny -> Doolin, along the N85 road. Once in Doolin, follow signs for Doolin Pier where ferries leave to the Aran Islands – We are situated right beside the pier at the sea!

From Galway: In a motorhome or with a caravan we advise you travel to Ennis along the N18 & M18, then follow the directions from Ennis above. The other road is along the coast, which is easily followed as the Wild Atlantic Way south bound. While this is a very scenic route, it is quite narrow in places – Easy enough for cars, but not for the faint hearted motorhome or caravan driver!

By Bus

Express buses serve Ennis from Dublin and other major cities, Galway, Limerick & Cork. Local buses link towns and villages throughout the county.  The Bus Eireann national bus service (Route 350) stops directly outside the campsite.

By Air & Sea

Belfast, Dublin, Shannon, and Cork are the principal international Airports. Cars can be hired at all of the above airports. Dublin, Dun Laoghaire, Belfast and Larne are served by car ferry from Britain.
Cork & Rosslare are served by car ferries from Britain and France. See Stena Line, Irish Ferries and Brittany Ferries.
